Collection of colostrum before birth is encouraged by healthcare professionals and doctors worldwide, and it's a very hot topic right now. Many hospitals currently use a spoon to collect colostrum, which is then poured into a measuring cup. Others use syringes with blunt ends. These solutions are cumbersome – it’s time to replace the spoon with the Anue Pipette Kit.

The Anue Pipette Kit consists of the Anue Pipette and the Anue ENFit Universal Lid. The pipette is small and lightweight, using vacuum technology to help draw the thick colostrum drops into the container. The vacuum also minimizes spillage, as you need to physically press the pipette to release the colostrum drops. This feature is especially useful when feeding colostrum to the baby.

To collect colostrum with the pipette, the breast needs to be hand-expressed. The pipette is placed under the nipple, and by gently pressing the pipette repeatedly, the milk is drawn into the container. After collection, the Anue ENFit Universal Lid is placed on the pipette. You can use the same pipette for collection within a 24-hour period before freezing, but it should be stored in the refrigerator in the meantime.
