Feeding Futures
Anue is a Norwegian health technology company founded on November 27th, 2018 by pediatric nurse Jeanette Grønnslett. Her frustration and irritation with how breast milk is handled in hospitals and the process of donating breast milk gave her the idea for a new storage solution for breast milk - a storage solution that revolutionizes the milk bank process and makes it easy, safe and hygienic to donate breast milk.
The name Anue [Anew] means "first" as in the first meal. Our vision is that all newborns should have breast milk as their first meal. When spelled out, it sounds like “a new”. Anue is a new brand, with new concepts that will change current working methods for collection, storage, test and distribution of human breast milk.
Anue revolutionizes the process of handling breast milk and implements a new global standard.
Employees
Did you know?
Infants require breast milk as it contains essential nutrients such as digestive enzymes, growth hormones, antibodies, hamlet, stem cells, and other vital components that are important for public health¹. Unfortunately, not all infants have access to its mothers own milk, human donor milk will be the next best option. Infant formula increases the risk of developing several health conditions associated with high mortality². With over 15 million premature babies born annually, only 800 000 have access to human donor milk.
I have a strong passion to promote, protect, and support breastfeeding and increase access to human donor milk. The current breast milk donation process presents several challenges that have created frustration, irritation, and a commitment for me to create a global change by develop and implement Anue Concept Kit.
Anue Concept Kit is a new, patented technology designed to make it easy, safe and hygienic to collect, store, test and distribute human milk. You are most welcome to take part in our journey.
Sincerely
